3 Years of Hayaa & Yuvaan

Wow, It's been almost a year since I last updated this blog. The actual purpose of this blog was to try and document every little step in the life of my darlings. I thought I would document every new thing that they learn, every new word or sentence they speak, the first time they learn to walk etc. etc. Somehow along the way though, Hayaa and Yuvaan started learning a lot of things very quickly, in fact, too quickly for me to be able to record their progress in such detail. What they would learn today would be forgotten tomorrow and then they would learn new things instead. It was almost impossible to make records of each such wonderful moment on film but it is surely recorded in my heart.

I guess, it is time to wrap up this blog. However, as I depart, I've a collage of the last 3 years of their life if you'd like to see. Please switch on your speakers or wear headphones.

Interview with Yuvaan

Here's a one minute interview with Yuvaan. Just look at his airs, he thinks he's alreay a star. And look at the way he puts his hands behind his head in the middle of the video.

He's a little down because as he says 'Yuvaan ko bukhal hai'! He's showing the ulcer in his mouth...

3 Stooges at the Christmas Get Together!

Did I mention, most of my friends got married around the same time. So naturally, baby season was also around the same time. Now, whenever we have a get together, it's a mad house. I got a video for you. The three kids in the picture are Yuvaan, Garv (the one in the Kurta) and Yuvaraj (the senior one - he's almost a year older than Yuvaan and Garv).

Watching them was like watching an episode of the Three Stooges!

Hayaa Eating on her own

Hayaa is such a Princess! She's just 20 months and wants to eat everything with a spoon, not to get her hands dirty... Here she is having her first independent meal with a spoon.

This has to be the kids most favourite song. I mean, every time Yuvaan sees the laptop, he goes "Na na na na ..." and goes Gaana, Gaana (Song). He's even started to head bang a bit. Rock On definitely deserves award for the best music if it can do this to a 18 month old.

He's got this taste for Rock music from his dad, I guess :)

Dancing on the Dining Table

This was one of those days when the kids were in the mood to dance on a stage. Heck, they are always in the mood to dance. I swear, Yuvaan even at times dances to the news. And Hayaa's got those hip hop moves when she shakes her head. Check it out.

Clearly, Mauja hi mauja is their favourite song.

Hayaa Trick

This is something that Hayaa used to do often but whenever we pointed a camera at her, she refused to do it. She looks up and squeezes her brows to try to scare us. Then one day, we placed the camera on the table and got her to do this... Just for the blog :)

This was on Yuvaan's birthday at a restaurant...

I tried posting Yuvaan's video in his bandi and dhoti as well but there's a problem with blogger. Doesn't allow me to upload bigger videos. I'll do that in some time.
